Panthers Impressive in 13 Debut Vs Texans

The Madden Ballas Club Preseason officially kicked off tonight with the Panthers taking on the Texans in Charlotte. The Panthers 1st offense played very well lead by starting QB Cam Newton & RB Johnathan Stewart, Cam completed 8-11 for 91 yards and 2 TDs while Stewart ran the rock 15 times for a decent 64 yards and also lead the panthers in receptions with 5, on defense Darelle Revis earned his 1st interception as a Panther. Things couldn't have looked worse for the Texans in their debut... Starting QB Matt Schaub completed 3 of 5 passes but was sacked twice and also threw an Int, Ben Tate took 90% of the carries with 15 attempts for 62 yards, this kid has a future. Houston's defense didn't look stellar, but it didn't look bad either. Troy Nolan stood out with an interception and a sack.

What we learned (Panthers): Barber will use his RBs in a very versatile way this year, Cam Newton also looked very impressive.

What we learned (Texans): This may look like it, but this is not the same Texans team as m12... it has a lot more talent and will use it wisely. if Coach mhb can get an offensive game-plan going they can win the AFC south.
